Illustrated with 31 full page colour paintings, numerous colour photographs, line drawings and distribution maps.

Dr Tim Upson, Superintendent of the University of Cambridge’s 40 acre Botanic Garden, trained as a horticulturalist at Kew and then went on to undertake a doctorate on lavender at the University of Reading.  He has published many papers and popular articles on lavenders and is widely recognised as a leading authority who combines academic acumen with practical expertise and skill.

Susyn Andrews, recently of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, is a world-leading horticultural taxonomist and was the co-founder and Chairman of the Horticultural Taxonomy Group (HORTAX). She has published over 150 scientific papers and articles, was the senior editor of Taxonomy of Cultivated Plants (1999), has sat on the ISHS Commission for Nomenclature and Registration, is an Honorary Research Associate at Kew, and currently serves on several scientific and horticultural committees.  An enthusiastic gardener, her main interests are temperate and subtropical woody plants and her passion for lavenders stretches back 15 years.

We offer FREE delivery on UK-only orders over £50 (Tracked Standard delivery service). (This does not apply to our print-on-demand service)

International and EU orders are subject to variable postage costs calculated at checkout; these are dependent on the size and value of your order.

Orders to EU and International addresses may be subject to local customs duty or taxes. You will need to pay any additional charges for customs clearance, charges include local VAT and duty based on the value and origin of the product upon receipt of your order.

Weight restrictions: We are unable to ship orders where the total weight is over 2kg outside of the United Kingdom.
