Product Description
These Poppy Seeds stem gives rise to sumptuous, fully double blooms, so densely packed with ruffled, silky petals that they resemble a luxurious peony.
The colour is a mesmerizing, deep, velvety black-maroon—a shade so rich and dark it absorbs the light, creating a stunning focal point and a dramatic contrast against brighter flowers and green foliage.

Growing tips:
- Sowing months: March, April, May, August, September
- Flowering months: June, July, August
- Sowing info: Sow from March to May outdoors where they are to flower. Prepare the ground well and rake to a fine tilth before sowing. Sow 1.5mm (1/16") deep in rows 30cm (12") apart. Germination usually takes approximately 21 days. A sowing can also be made in late August/September for overwintering and flowering earlier the next season.

CAUTION: All poppies are poisonous. However, the SEEDS produced by this specific variety (Papaver somniferum) can be eaten. Typically, used in bakery recipes.
