Product Description

This eco-friendly Kew grab bag contains 100 seedballs, each packed with a carefully selected mix of native UK wildflowers designed to attract and support a wide range of garden wildlife—including bees, butterflies, birds, beetles, hedgehogs, and bats.

These bags are plastic free (made from paper) and can be home composted, making it a sustainable gift for gardeners, nature lovers, and eco-conscious friends.

Includes Common Poppy, Wild Carrot, Corn Marigold, Red Clover Greater Knapweed, Sheep Sorrel, Yellow Rattle, Birdsfoot Trefoil, Tufted Vetch and Self Heal.

Each bag contains 100 seed balls, enough to cover 5 square metres in a garden bed or 15-25 medium sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball). With their colourful designs they can also work nicely as a wildlife gardening gift. Scatter at any time from early Spring until late Autumn.

Common Poppy (Papaver rhoeas)

  • A bright red flowering annual - hugely popular.
  • Height: 30-60cm
  • Flowering months: May to July
  • The remembrance poppy is the common field poppy, one of the first wildflowers to colonise disturbed ground or fallow cornfields. It became identified with the battle zones of the First World War, or Flanders Fields, which were originally corn fields.
  • Wild Carrot (Daucus carota)

  • Also known as Queen Anne's Lace - Biennial (sometimes annual)
  • Height: 30-70cm
  • Flowering months: June to August
  • Corn Marigold (Glebionis Segetum)

  • A medium height annual plant, its flowers are golden-yellow discs with prominent ray florets.
  • Height: 51-60cm
  • Sowing months: late summer to mid April, but the best results are usually obtained in early spring
  • Flowering months: June to October
  • Red Clover (Trifolium pratense)

  • Perennial with trefoil leaves and pinky red flowers. Good weed suppressor.
  • Height: 10-45cm
  • Flowering months: May to September
  • The trifolium can help to break up heavy soil over time, plus it adds nitrogen to the soil, meaning healthy plants all round!
  • Greater Knapweed (Centaurea scabiosa)

  • Perennial
  • Height: 30-100cm
  • Flowering months: July to September
  • Sheep Sorrel (Rumex acetosella)

  • Perennial
  • Height: 10-40cm
  • Flowering months: June to August
  • Yellow Rattle (Rhinanthus Minor)

  • A quick growing grassland annual with yellow flowers and two purple 'teeth'.
  • Height: 45cm
  • Flowering months: May to September
  • Birdsfoot Trefoil (Lotus corniculatus)

  • A perennial with clusters of yellow/orange pea like leaves.
  • Height: 15-25cm
  • Flowering months: May to October

  • Tufted Vetch (Vicia cracca)

  • Perennial.
  • Height: 20-100cm
  • Flowering months: June to August
  • Self Heal (Prunella vulgaris)

  • Perennial.
  • Height: 10-50cm
  • Flowering months: June to September
  • The common name Selfheal, sometimes written as Self-heal, refers to the plant having been used as a treatment for wounds and bruises until recent times.

    We offer FREE delivery on UK-only orders over £60 (Tracked Standard delivery service). (This does not apply to our print-on-demand service)

    Our other delivery costs are as follows:

    • UK Tracked Standard - £5 (delivery 3-6 working days from date of order)
    • UK Tracked Express - £8.95 (delivery 1-3 working days from date of order)


    Note: Mat Collishaw framed prints can take up to 2 weeks for delivery and are excluded from promotional discounts.

    If your basket contains age restricted products, our courier will request passport or driving license ID if the recipient looks under 25.

    Gift membership products

    Gift Membership packs are sent using a tracked and signed for service. Unfortunately, we are unable to replace gift memberships that are lost or misplaced once received by the recipient.

    International and EU orders are subject to variable postage costs calculated at checkout; these are dependent on the size and value of your order.

    Orders to EU and International addresses may be subject to local customs duty or taxes. You will need to pay any additional charges for customs clearance, charges include local VAT and duty based on the value and origin of the product upon receipt of your order.

    Weight restrictions: We are unable to ship orders where the total weight is over 2kg outside of the United Kingdom.
