100-ball grab bag, ideal for creating larger wildflower patches. 

A carefully selected mix designed specifically to support garden wildlife, including bees, butterflies, birds, beetles, hedgehogs and bats – wildflowers are brilliant habitats for garden biodiversity, providing and attracting food while also offering shelter.

Includes Common Poppy, Wild Carrot, Corn Marigold, Red Clover Greater Knapweed, Sheep Sorrel, Yellow Rattle, Birdsfoot Trefoil, Tufted Vetch and Self Heal.

Each bag contains 100 seed balls, enough to cover 5 square metres in a garden bed or 15-25 medium sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball).

Scatter at any time from early Spring until late Autumn.

These bags are plastic free (made from paper) and can be home composted. With their colourful designs they can also work nicely as a wildlife gardening gift.

Common Poppy (Papaver rhoeas)

A bright red flowering annual - hugely popular and often used as a symbol of remembrance.
Height: 30-60cm.
Flowers: May to July
The remembrance poppy is the common field poppy, one of the first wildflowers to colonise disturbed ground or fallow cornfields. It became identified with the battle zones of the First World War, or Flanders Fields, which were originally corn fields.

Wild Carrot (Daucus carota)

Also known as Queen Anne's Lace
Biennial (sometimes annual)
Height: 30-70cm
Flowers: June to August

Corn Marigold (Glebionis Segetum)

A medium height annual plant, its flowers are golden-yellow discs with prominent ray florets.
Height: 51-60cm
Scatter: late summer to mid April, but the best results are usually obtained in early spring
Flowers: June to October

Red Clover (Trifolium pratense)

Perennial with trefoil leaves and pinky red flowers. Good weed suppressor.
Height: 10-45cm
Flowers: May to September
The trifolium can help to break up heavy soil over time, plus it adds nitrogen to the soil, meaning healthy plants all round!

Greater Knapweed (Centaurea scabiosa)

Perennial.
Height: 30-100cm
Flowers: July to September

Sheep Sorrel (Rumex acetosella)

Perennial.
Height: 10-40cm
Flowers: June to August

Yellow Rattle (Rhinanthus Minor)

A quick growing grassland annual with yellow flowers and two purple 'teeth'.
Height: 45cm

Birdsfoot Trefoil (Lotus corniculatus)

A perennial with clusters of yellow/orange pea like leaves.
Height: 15-25cm

We are unable to deliver to hotels and PO BOX addresses. In the event that an order is placed to be delivered to either of these destinations, we will cancel and refund the order.

Pre-orders

If your delivery contains an item on pre-order then we will wait for the full order to be assembled before we dispatch, unless stated otherwise on the pre-order product page.

Exceptions: if Kewbert, the Kew Bear is part of a larger order, any products purchased at the same time will be shipped beforehand.

International and EU

International and EU orders are subject to variable postage costs calculated at checkout; these are dependent on the size and value of your order.

Orders to EU and International addresses may be subject to local customs duty or taxes. You will need to pay any additional charges for customs clearance, charges include local VAT and duty based on the value and origin of the product upon receipt of your order.

Weight restrictions: We are unable to ship orders where the total weight is over 2kg outside of the United Kingdom.
