Marianne North Notecard Set
This set of ten notecards features the breathtaking work of Marianne North, with each postcard bearing a different painting.
Born in 1830, Marianne North was a naturalist and botanical artist, and an integral part of the history of Kew Gardens. Travelling extensively around the world, often alone, the scientific accuracy with which she captured plant life gives her work an incredibly important value, especially when considering photography was not a practical option at that time. Her entire collection is housed in the now beautifully restored Marianne North Gallery at Kew Gardens.
