Handmade in Britain
After being carefully harvested, selected, fermented and dried in the sun close to the fields it grew in, the single-origin cocoa journeys across the ocean to our chocolate HQ in historic York where it’s transformed into their famously smooth chocolate, then tempered for the perfect snap, packaged at source and delivered.

By purchasing every part of the packaging from British companies, Choc Affair help support the success and growth of other UK industries.
Locally, they support the Blueberry Academy, which helps young adults with learning differences become more independent and learn life-enriching skills that might not otherwise be open to them.
Caring For Our Environment
All chocolate is palm oil free. Palm tree oil is used by many mass-produced brands as a cheap alternative to natural cocoa butter, but according to the World Wildlife Fund, it’s also responsible for the loss of an incredible 300 football fields of rainforest every hour.
Sustainably produced
All of the cocoa used in these delicious chocolate products is responsibly and sustainably produced. They pay an additional 5% per kilo of cocoa beans to Luker, their Colombian supplier to support various projects in the cocoa-growing communities of Colombia where our chocolate is grown and harvested. These projects include reforestation, so they are doing all we can to ensure everything we take out of the earth is duly replenished.

At every stage of its journey from bean to bar, Choc Affair want their chocolate to have a positive impact, which is why all of cocoa comes from family-owned companies just like theirs. By supporting small farms and local co-operatives and giving them a sense of ownership and pride in the finished product, they help ensure that profits stay where they're needed the most
Delivery and Returns
United Kingdom
We offer FREE delivery on UK-only orders over £60 (Tracked Standard delivery service). (This does not apply to our print-on-demand service)
Our other delivery costs are as follows:
- UK Tracked Standard - £5 (delivery 3-6 working days from date of order)
- UK Tracked Express - £8.95 (delivery 1-3 working days from date of order)
Note: Mat Collishaw framed prints can take up to 2 weeks for delivery and are excluded from promotional discounts.
Age restricted products
If your basket contains age restricted products, our courier will request passport or driving license ID if the recipient looks under 25.
Gift membership products
Gift Membership packs are sent using a tracked and signed for service. Unfortunately, we are unable to replace gift memberships that are lost or misplaced once received by the recipient.
International and EU
International and EU orders are subject to variable postage costs calculated at checkout; these are dependent on the size and value of your order.
Orders to EU and International addresses may be subject to local customs duty or taxes. You will need to pay any additional charges for customs clearance, charges include local VAT and duty based on the value and origin of the product upon receipt of your order.
Weight restrictions: We are unable to ship orders where the total weight is over 2kg outside of the United Kingdom.
Product restrictions: We are unable to ship seeds, plants, bulbs, inflammable products, sharp and/or bladed items, food and beverages outside of the United Kingdom.
