Every piece in the Grown at Kew range begins with a tree. To maintain our world-famous arboretum, Kew's arborists sometimes need to fell trees due to storm damage, disease, or sustainable management. Celebrated woodworkers Selwyn House now transform this reclaimed timber into beautiful handcrafted wooden homeware with the ability to trace your homeware to the very tree it came from.
Nothing is wasted. Even the ash from offcuts is given a new life in our limited-edition hand-blown glass vases created by a team of renowned glass specialists led by artist Lulu Harrison. Each piece is individually hand-blown and hand-sculpted using a pioneering sustainable glass batch formulation of recycled tree ash, reclaimed glass and wine lees.
