Sustainable
This product is Fair Trade and Handmade in Nepal by Pachamama, whose story began in 1990 when David Child and Cathy Stirland started trading goods from the Andean Mountains of South America.
Their name translates as "Earth Mother" from Quechua, the ancient language of the Incas.
Since 1996 Pachamama began fairly trading handmade 100% wool clothing, accessories and homeware made in Nepal and since then has developed strong and sustainable relationships with their suppliers based on mutual respect for all links in the chain of production.
At Pachamama very little time passes without them working on new designs, and because their products are handmade on a relatively small scale it is highly unlikely you will meet someone wearing the same thing. While the designs are constantly changing, the underlying style remains the same: a use of natural materials, colour and symbol.
What all their products have in common is that they are sustainable, ethical and made with great deal of patience, care and love. Pachamama is at the forefront of the slow fashion movement, as each item is designed for life and made to last.
The majority of their production is village based, with our knitters supplementing their incomes from farming and fitting production around their own family and work commitments. A small number of people work in a factory environment to make hand framed knitting, to hand finish and pack our garments, and to produce a range of hand felted items. All these people work in excellent conditions and receive benefits and pay above the local standards.

We offer FREE delivery on UK-only orders over £60 (Tracked Standard delivery service). (This does not apply to our print-on-demand service)
Our other delivery costs are as follows:

- UK Tracked Express - £8.95 (delivery 1-3 working days from date of order)
Note: Mat Collishaw framed prints can take up to 2 weeks for delivery and are excluded from promotional discounts.

If your basket contains age restricted products, our courier will request passport or driving license ID if the recipient looks under 25.
Gift membership products
Gift Membership packs are sent using a tracked and signed for service. Unfortunately, we are unable to replace gift memberships that are lost or misplaced once received by the recipient.
International and EU
International and EU orders are subject to variable postage costs calculated at checkout; these are dependent on the size and value of your order.
Orders to EU and International addresses may be subject to local customs duty or taxes. You will need to pay any additional charges for customs clearance, charges include local VAT and duty based on the value and origin of the product upon receipt of your order.
Weight restrictions: We are unable to ship orders where the total weight is over 2kg outside of the United Kingdom.
