Product Description
This charming bird nester is beautifully handcrafted by Fair Trade artisans in India using recycled metal, cotton, and munja grass.
Designed with a long loop for easy hanging, it brings a vibrant touch to any garden, perfect for welcoming small birds or displaying as a distinctive decorative piece.
Every birdhouse is unique, featuring its own unique blend of colours that reflect its handmade charm.
The acorn birdhouse has a 3.5cm opening, which is ideal if you live in a city or heavily populated area. This is big enough for Tree Sparrows, Chickadees and Great Tits.
Position these in ivy, bushes, hedges or trees to give birds somewhere cosy to shelter. During the breeding season, locate the nester in thick cover to help reduce the risk of predation.
Materials: recycled metal, cotton and munja.
Munja is a tough grass (saccharum munja) with great natural water-repellent abilities, and has been sustainably sourced from across India.

This product in particular has been made by Noah’s Ark, a fantastic member of both the World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO) and Fair Trade Forum India.
With their mission to commit themselves and the producer groups they work with to Fair Trade principles, their goal is to change the lives of grassroots artisans. The organisation works with around 49 talented producer groups, representing approximately 500 artisans collectively working towards the eradication of poverty.
Their focus on education and capacity building enables the people they support to become more aware of fair working conditions and the environment, in order to promote the value, cultural heritage and beauty of their handmade products.

We offer FREE delivery on UK-only orders over £60 (Tracked Standard delivery service). (This does not apply to our print-on-demand service)
Our other delivery costs are as follows:

- UK Tracked Express - £8.95 (delivery 1-3 working days from date of order)
Note: Mat Collishaw framed prints can take up to 2 weeks for delivery and are excluded from promotional discounts.

If your basket contains age restricted products, our courier will request passport or driving license ID if the recipient looks under 25.
Gift membership products
Gift Membership packs are sent using a tracked and signed for service. Unfortunately, we are unable to replace gift memberships that are lost or misplaced once received by the recipient.

International and EU orders are subject to variable postage costs calculated at checkout; these are dependent on the size and value of your order.
